David Holmes Gordon spent 35 years in practice as a corporate lawyer where he believed that clients came first. Upon his retirement in 2001, he moved to Mulmur, ON and spent countless hours giving back to the community. David was an avid volunteer and spent time with various organizations. His passion for helping others inspired him to create The D.H. Gordon Foundation as a means to give back to the charities that needed it most.

David was passionate about community safety and planned to join the Board of Directors for Community Safety Partners (then Safe Communities of Hill County). Sadly, David passed away in September of 2006. His legacy and passion for safety lives on through the D.H. Gordon Foundation, which continues to be the primary funder of Community Safety Partners annually. Most importantly, the funds received from the D.H. Gordon Foundation are what allow us to keep operating for you.
